The Bond Projects
The $5.7 million included in Proposition Y will go for technology purchases and the following facilities projects:
Middle School/High School
Replace old windows (3), old door, and awning along east side of building.
A few of the items needing replacement
Replace crumbling steps on south side of building (main entrance area and in front of the theatre).

Construct cover for cooling tower on north side of building as required by city ordinance.

Replace aging chain link fencing on east and north side.

Complete needed tuckpointing projects.
Build parking lot and corresponding entryway spaces on north side of school.
Install heating and air conditioning controls to help with energy efficiency.
Resurface track (it's been three years since the recommended time to resurface).
Cracks such as this one are more prevalent since the track was installed 10 years ago
Renovate aging restrooms in Middle School.
While most areas in the Middle School restrooms have been upgraded, there are still some spaces that need to be renovated
Elementary School
Install an intercom system for the entire building. This project is designed to address all possible safety and emergency needs for the students and staff.
Early Childhood Center
Complete construction of new kitchen and cafeteria for the school.
