Food and Nutrition
At each of the schools, the MRH Food Services program offers nutritional, healthy, and tasty food, which is important because healthy food is vital to mental and physical growth during a student’s formative years. In addition to integrating food and nutrition into the curriculum, MRH has infused a number of innovations into the food service program, which you can read about here.
MRH provides breakfast and lunch each school day. Lunch prices are established at the beginning of every school year. For families that are unable to afford the cost, lunches can be provided at no cost or at a reduced cost. To be eligible, families must complete and submit a Free and Reduced Lunch form at the beginning of the school year. Contact Director of Food Service Carol Kon for more details.
MRH participates in a federal program, which provides free breakfasts to all students. We believe this fulfills a nutritional, as well as an economic, need in our community.
