Amanda Emmons is a family therapist working through the School Links Program of Family Support Network. Amanda provides free family counseling to families with children from birth to age 17 who live or attend school in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District. A family can call Amanda directly to initiate services or be referred by the school or another community agency. Amanda provides cost free in-home and school-based weekly family and individual counseling, crisis intervention counseling, and parenting education.
Amanda's clients are challenged with a variety of issues including anger management, a recent divorce, challenges dealing with parents or step-parents, children with emotional or developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance/alcohol abuse, financial constraints, housing problems, lack of support systems, etc.
