The MRH School District is hostin an open enrollment event for kindergarten registration for the 2010-2011 school year. The event takes place on Tuesday, June 22 from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. at MRH Early Childhood Center, located at 2801 Oakland Ave.

Students must be 5 years old before August 1, 2010, in order to enroll. Required documentation for enrollment includes the student’s immunization record, birth certificate, a comprehensive eye exam, and proof of residency. For proof of residency, families should bring a current occupancy permit listing the names of the parent or court-appointed guardian as well as the enrolling student. Families are also asked to bring the student’s social security card.

If there are circumstances preventing parents or court-appointed guardians the ability to access any of these documents, please call the MRH Central Office at 314-644-4400 for assistance.

Enrolling students are encouraged to attend. Reading and math specialists will meet with incoming students to determine appropriate class placement. Principal Cyndi Hebenstreit, along with the school nurse and counselor, will also be available to help answer any questions.
