The Maplewood Richmond Heights School District invites the public to tour each of its schools at a district wide open house on Sunday, October 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Visitors will be able to meet with school principals and members of the faculty at each of the district’s facilities. Some of the highlights include a brand new preschool wing at the Early Childhood Center and the newly renovated theatre at the High School.

MRH superintendent Dr. Linda Henke notes this event is not just for families interested in enrolling their kids in the schools. “Members of our community have a vested interest in the quality of their local schools and this is an opportunity to see first hand just how well we are performing,” she said.

Each site will offer visitors a chance to see classroom spaces, learn about technology being used in the schools, discover the philosophical approach to curriculum design, meet with school administrators, and see samples of students’ work.
