Community Members and Students to Collaborate in "Fusion Project"
Artists and writers from across the community and MRH schools will have the chance to team up in the MRH School District's new Fusion Project.
The Fusion Project is a melding of art and literature designed to create a dialogue and involves a mixture of community members, educators and MRH students. The program pairs writers and people involved in the arts, such as visual arts, theater professionals, graphic artists or musicians from the community with students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12.
Each Fusion Project pairing will include a writer and an artist. Students and community members may work one-on-one, or entire classes may work with members of the community on collaborations. At the end of the project, there will be an exhibit of Fusion Project pieces.
If you are interested in being a part of the Fusion Project as either an artist or writer, contact Hannah Montford at (314) 446-1737 or h.montford@mrhsd.k12.mo.us.
