Applicants Sought for MRH Board of Education Vacancy

Effective April 6, 2007, a vacancy will exist on the MRH Board of Education. Anyone interested and qualified to fill the vacancy should submit a letter to the Secretary of the Board of Education, 7539 Manchester, Maplewood, Missouri 63143, no later than Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 4 p.m.

Eligibility requirements for the MRH Board of Education are:
• citizen of the United States,
• at least 24 years old,
• a resident taxpayer of the MRH School District and have, or will have,
resided in Missouri for one year prior to the vacancy being filled.

The seat on the MRH Board is open due to the resignation of Director Joel Klein. Mr. Klein is resigning from the Board because he is moving out of the district. The applicant who is chosen to fill the seat will serve until April of 2008, when that seat will be up for re-election.
