Board of Education Filing Open December 12 - January 16
Two positions for a three-year term are open in the April 3, 2007 MRH Board of Education election. Filing for the election will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12 at the MRH Central Office and will run until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16. Filing hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first and last day of filing, otherwise, regular filing hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
No filing will take place during the week of December 25-29 and on January 1 and January 15, due to holidays.
Filing must be done in person at the MRH Central Office. Eligibility requirements for the MRH Board of Education are:
• citizen of the United States,
• at least 24 years old,
• a resident taxpayer of the MRH School District and have, or will have,
resided in Missouri for one year prior to the April 3 election.
Candidates should provide a biographical statement of no more than 200 words and a recent photograph, which will be used for media releases and MRH publications. Names will appear on the ballot in chronological order of filing. For more information, please call Cathy Thorp at (314) 644-4400.
