High School Student Council and Yearbook Sponsoring Trivia Night
The MRH High School StuCo and Yearbook are co-sponsoring a Trivia Night and Silent Auction at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 1 at the Richmond Heights VFW, located at 1330 S. Big Bend. Tables are $80 per eight-person adult team. Seating is limited, so RSVP to faculty advisors Kelli Best-Oliver or Otto Schultejans at k.best@mrhsd.k12.mo.us or o.schultejans@mrhsd.k12.mo.us. Proceeds from the event will benefit Yearbook and StuCo.
The MRH Yearbook is a student-produced publication that documents events throughout the school year and includes photographs and stories of students and faculty. Students generate funds through ad sales and sales of the yearbook, but still incur costs above those funds. Proceeds from Trivia Night will go to offset these costs.
The MRH StuCo is MRH High School's student government organization. StuCo sponsors spirit and service events such as Homecoming, Tent City, Thanksgiving Baskets, Courtwarming, Stress Relief Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, Support Staff Appreciation Week, and Leadership Week and also provides student assistants at school and community events such as Open House and the MRH Elementary Fall Festival. Proceeds from Trivia Night will go to fund project such as these and support StuCo's involvement at the district and state level.
