MRH is currently in need of qualified substitute teachers to ensure that students' educational programs are not interrupted with teacher absence. Substitute teaching is a great job with good hours and good pay. To view the full substitute teacher brochure, click here.
Substitute teachers are expected to arrive to the school thirty minutes before school begins and may leave after school is released. School hours are different at each building. The average workday is 6 hours and 40 minutes.
Substitute teachers are paid based on a daily rate.

11 to 20 days (at the same assignment)-$82 per day |

Over 20 days (at the same assignment)-$147 per day |
If you have completed 60 college credit hours or have a Missouri's teacher certificate, then you can be a substitute at MRH. Applicants must provide the following:

MRH encourages substitute teachers to build relationships with our staff and students by continuing employment with the district. The District has implemented a successful incentive program that awards substitute teachers for continued work throughout the school year.
Completion of 10 days - you will receive a free lunch coupon to be used at any MRH cafeteria.
Completion of 15 days - you will receive a movie pass from a local theater.
Completion of 20 days - you will recieve a Border's Gift Certificate (valued at $20.00).
Completion of 25 days - you will be reimbursed for your record checks.
Completion of 50 days - you will recieve a $100.00 bonus.
