We are so happy to have such a beautiful new library, and we invite you to come read, work, and relax here whenever you want. While you’re here, please keep a few things in mind:
- Remember to sign in and out of the library every time you come in, unless you are with a teacher as a whole class. For after school only: If you need to leave the library and you want to come back, please sign out with a librarian before you go. Otherwise, once you leave the library you won’t be able to come back in.
- While you’re here, use your library voice. People nearby should be able to work quietly and not be interrupted by your conversation.
- Remember not to lie down or put your feet on the library furniture. All the furniture has been carefully placed where it is for learning purposes, so please do not move it around. Please do not sit on the floor unless there is no other place to sit.
- Please keep all food and beverages in the café area (on the wooden floor). Kindly wipe up any spills and throw away your trash when you’re finished.
- All the expectations that apply during the school day in your classrooms also apply in the library before, during and after school.
