| The Maplewood Richmond Heights School District is organized and governed pursuant to Chapter 162 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended. MRH is governed by a seven-member Board of Education. The voters of the district elect the directors of the Board for three-year staggered terms, with two directors being elected in two successive years and three directors being elected every three years. All directors are elected at-large and serve without compensation. The board of education is responsible for all policy decisions. The president of the board is elected by the board from among it members for a term of one year and has no regular administrative duties.

Stephen Findley (314) 644-4760 s.findley@mrhsd.k12.mo.us President, term expires April 2011  Stephen Findley lives in Maplewood with his wife, Pascale, and two sons, Jonah and Danny, who are students at MRH Early Childhood Center. Findley has a Bachelors degree in philosophy from Rice University as well as a Masters degree and Doctorate in philosophy from Boston College. He is currently an adjunct professor of philosophy at Webster University.
Cindy Blankenship (314) 644-5794 c.blankenship@mrhsd.k12.mo.us Vice President, term expires April 2010  Cindy Blankenship grew up in Maplewood and is an MRH alumna (Class of 1975). Her only son Jeff attended and graduated from MRH. Jeff has graduated with BA in history and is currently in his Masters of Education at Truman. Cindy is an active member of Maplewood Baptist church. She has been employed by Carpenter's Trust Funds of St. Louis for 26 years. Cindy is serving in her third term on the MRH Board of Education. The Missouri School Board Association certifies Cindy as an Master Board Member.
Ben Stotler (314) 495-0364 b.stotler@mrhsd.k12.mo.us Treasurer, term expires April 2011  Ben Stotler is a lifelong resident of Richmond Heights and an MRH High graduate. He has been involved in many MRH initiatives in recent years, having served as the treasurer of three recent bond campaigns. He was a member of the district's PACT II long-range facilities planning committee and the "Join the Race" campaign committee that raised funds for the High School athletic complex. He is married to MRH alum Courtney (Harsh) Stotler and has a stepdaughter who is a student at MRH Elementary. He is employed as chief operations officer with Carrollton Bank.
Sheryl Montford (314) 645-9232 s.montford@mrhsd.k12.mo.us Secretary, term expires April 2009  Sherry Montford has lived in Maplewood for over 20 years with her husband Clarke and two children, Hannah and Ian. Sherry has been an advocate for children for over twenty-four years throughout her professional role as pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital. Over the past five years, she has served as “room mother,” PTO president, Curriculum Review Team member, PACT Committee member, Co-chair of the successful K & S Campaign, Elementary School Design Planning Team member, and TIF Commissioner representing the School Board for the Hanley Road Redevelopment Project.

Rev. Nathaniel Malone (314) 644-4120 n.malone@mrhsd.k12.mo.us Director, term expires April 2009  Reverend Nathaniel Malone is the pastor the First Baptist Church of Maplewood and a member of the St. Louis Clergy Coalition. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Richmond Heights with their two children—Rosina, High School, and Nathan, Middle School. Rev. Malone also served on the MRH Board of Education from 1996-1999.Nelson Mitten (314) 644-0919 n.mitten@mrhsd.k12.mo.us Director, term expires April 2010  Nelson Mitten, a resident of Richmond Heights for over seventeen years, is married to Gina and has two children, Travis and Natalie. Nelson is an attorney with Riezman Berger, PC. A member of the Board of Education since 1998, Nelson was president from 1999 to 2001 and in his third year as treasurer. Nelson served on the Executive Committee of the Cooperating School District from 2001 to 2004 and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation-St. Louis Region.
