MRH Schools close due to severe weather or other emergencies only when it is necessary for the safety of students and staff. Every effort is made to keep school in session to provide our students with continued learning opportunities.
The decision to close school is usually made prior to 5 a.m. so radio and television stations can be notified of cancellation or delay of the school for the day. It is important to listen to the radio and television broadcasts to learn if school is closed or delayed. Please DO NOT call the schools or central office. The following broadcast stations provide Maplewood Richmond Heights School closing and delay announcements:
