Weather Closings
MRH Schools close due to severe weather or other emergencies only when it is necessary for the safety of students and staff. Every effort is made to keep school in session to provide our students with continued learning opportunities.
Should the decision to close schools be made, it is usually made prior to 5:00 a.m., at which point the following actions will take place:
- An automated phone call will be sent to all families and staff members
- A notice will be posted on the home page of this website
- Tweets will be sent from the District, Elementary, Middle and High School Twitter accounts
- The following media will be alerted:

It is important to check the above options to find out if school is closed. Please do not call the schools or Central Office.
Note: If you do not receive the automated phone call, please check with your school to make sure they have your correct contact information.
